Wade Robson’s abuse claim against Michael Jackson is “sad and less than credible”, says Howard Weitzman, the lawyer for the MJ estate. Four years after Jackson’s death, Robson has come forward with a claim that Jackson molested him on his numerous visits to Neverland Ranch between the ages of 7 and 14. However, the credibility of his claim has been up for debate, since the accusation is coming so long after the incident allegedly happened

"Mr. Robson's claim is outrageous and pathetic. This is a young man who has testified at least twice under oath over the past 20 years and said in numerous interviews that Michael Jackson never did anything inappropriate to him or with him," commented Weitzman for TMZ. That is an argument that’s going to be tough to beat, however, Robson claims that his failure to come forth any sooner was due to his repressed memories of the incidents.

Weitzman, however, claims that he isn’t too concerned about the accusations: “We are confident that the court will see this for what it is,” he commented. This is, however, not a very good time for the accusations to surface, as the Jackson family is currently in the midst of another legal battle – a wrongful death suit against Michael’s concert promoters, AEG.
