Wade Robson, the famous choreographer who claims Michael Jackson molested him during a trip to Neverland when he was just 7-years-old, had a nervous breakdown in March 2012. Sources close to his family tell TMZ.com that his mental state led to him reeling off the stories of molestation despite previously defending Jackson in court.

Multiple sources say Robson suffered from anxiety during most of 2011, eventually suffering a debilitating nervous breakdown that pushed him into complete seclusion. Robson - who's collaborated with some of the world's biggest pop stars -was unable to work after the breakdown and did not fulfil his commitments. He breached several contracts including one promise to pen three pop songs. Insiders say he lost "a ton of money" and has earned almost nothing since

Wade saw a psychotherapist for several weeks and eventually open the floodgates on the apparent molestation at the hands of the pop star, claiming he suffered abuse between the ages of 7 to 14. Sources say Robson told friends and family he planned to file a lawsuit against the Michael Jackson estate though has "substantial savings," i.e, he's not just after a quick buck.

Robson's lawyer, Henry Gradstein, tells TMZ, "Last year, on a career trajectory that was off the charts, he [Wade] collapsed under the stress and sexual trauma of what had happened to him for seven years as a child. He [Wade] lived with the brain washing by a sexual predator until the burden of it all crushed him."
