Michelle Obama continues her mission to advocate education for all women with the release of new single 'This Is For My Girls', featuring voices the likes of Missy Elliott, Kelly Clarkson and others. It's part of her Let Girls Learn campaign to break down social, political and cultural barriers that stand in the way of educational rights for girls.

The First Lady commissioned the track for the Peace Corps Let Girls Learn Fund and it's been written by Grammy award winner Diane Warren who is best known for Céline Dion's 'Because You Loved Me', Starship's 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now' and, lately, Lady Gaga's 'Til It Happens To You'. Featuring such massive voices including Kelly Clarkson, Missy Elliott, Lea Michele, Kelly Rowland, Zendaya and Janelle Monáe, the song dropped during Michelle Obama's SXSW keynote discussion today (March 16th 2016) where she was also joined by Elliott and Warren, as well as Sophia Bush and Queen Latifah in a talk about bringing education to more than 62 million females around the world.

'It's kind of like 'We Are the World' meets 'Lady Marmalade' with these strong voices and strong women', Diane Warren told Billboard recently. 'When was the last time you heard a song like this or a record that had this many amazing divas on it? I'm really proud.' Before the panel dicussion, the songwriter admitted she was thrilled to get the chance to speak alongside the First Lady. 'This is my first time at SXSW, and it's a big deal with me being on a panel with Michelle Obama', she said. 'I've already been told to watch my language.'

The Peace Corps charity that all proceeds from the song are going towards aims to 'ensure that adolescent girls get the secondary education they deserve', with volunteers working to help girls in 35 countries.
