Sir Mick Jagger and tragic fashion designer L'Wren Scott had recently purchased a $10 million (£6.3 million) home in New York shortly before her death earlier this week (beg17Mar14), according to her brother-in-law.
Scott's lifeless body was discovered hanging by a scarf in her Manhattan apartment on Monday morning (17Mar14).
The sad news has left the Rolling Stones frontman devastated, and Scott's brother-in-law has now revealed Jagger "had recently decided to give up his hotel lifestyle," and set up roots with his partner.
Rob Shane tells the New York Daily News, "I understand they had just bought a $10 million home in New York."
Earlier this week, Jagger left an emotional message on his website, reading, "I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way. We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves."
Jagger and his bandmates have since postponed their Australia and New Zealand tour dates to give the rocker time to deal with the tragedy.
