Dear Mr. Rourke, I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your lovely dog Loki. I have in the past few years learned what wonderful pets chiahuhuas are, and have a male and female dog, pokey and sassafras. Sassy has 5 puppies now, and they are six weeks old. If you are interested, I would love to offer you one of these pups, they range in color from black and white brodered to pale beige, with one little girl who looks like a mini doberman. Please feel free to contact me, or if you would like to see some photos. My goal is of course to find excellent homes for all my pups.

If anyone can tell me the name of the Rourke film spoofing the Agatha Christie genre mystery films/novels, will be most grateful. Rourke starred as a Sam Spade type private eye, and a group of characters gathered in a mansion, someone got murdered, and the game was on to find the murderer and other characters were speedily also apparently murdered. The film has a star-studded cast, most playing famous fictitious crime solvers like Charley Chan, Jane Marple, etc. It’s a funny, clever, campy film, and Rourke is right on target with frequent Cagney-like affectations & delivery. I'd love to get a copy of it if only I can find out its name. If you know, plz email [email protected]

Mickey - To me, you delivered an Oscar winning perfomance in The Wrestler.  I've seen it twice.  I'll see it again.  You are powerful in the role.  My deepest sympathies go with you on the loss of your precious dog, Loki.  I lost my Bubba last June 6.  He was a beautiful, intelligent collie mix and the light of my life.  I found him as a starving puppy on the street and I had him for fourteen magical years.Sincerely, Pat

Mr Rourke, I recently seen the wrestler and it touched my soul in a way that very few moments in my life let alone a movie could in a very long time. As humans no matter what profession, we all rise and fall and struggle to find ourselves for what we have become or what we once were. Your performance was outstanding and you deserved the Oscar. I too have a dog (Chiuahua/min pin cross) and I am proud to say that he too has saved my life in so many ways. During the lows of my life, I wanted to die. However, I could never leave this world beacuse he depends on me. I could not imagin anyone not being there to care for him or love him unconditionly. He has Type 1 Diabetes. My love for him is unexplainable, he is my heart and soul. So I feel your pain with your loss of your dear sweet Loki and rest assure, she will always be part of your heart and giving you the strength to go on.

Just saw the Mickey Rourke interview with Barbara Walters. He really exposed his soul and loved his honesty. Really liked his comments about how he kept going because of his dogs. Finally someone else who keeps the faith. I keep going because of my farm of misfits and unwanted animals that now have a loving home with me. Animals like young children give unconditional love and need our responsible care. Thank you for shedding light Mr. Rourke!

Mickey,I was sorry to hear about Loky's passing. I have a chihuahua also. His name is Paco and I love him very much too. He is 4 years old and a great dog. My boyfriend is allergic to him so I should really give him to someone like you. I know you would give him a loving home. He is yours if you want him. You can contact me at [email protected] if you are interested. I know he won't take Loky's place, but he would fill a deep whole in your heart.Michelle

Mickey Rourke -- I'm your biggest fan! Finally someone from Hollywood who speaks sense. I'm so tired of hearing all the negativity concerning our President from Hollywood. I make it a point to NOT support any of those who spout such ignorant words. I don't go see their movies, TV shows, concerts, etc. Mickey Rourke--I'll go see all your performances! You may not be a Bush supporter or Republican -- but you speak sense!

I just saw the BBC interview with piers morgan and mickey rourke. it was very touching to see such a personal experience and intensely painful life story revealed. i thought it demonstrated sincerity and incredible strength to expose himself as he did. He is so charismatic still and seems to have found a place psychologically,to which many could aspire. I hope to see him pull off the role of his life, in a movie that can really play to his raw honesty. I don't go to the movies much but would bother to see Mickey Rourke in a very cool role as the emotionally aware macho, sexy hero part.
