Dunn escaped from the Olive Vista Behavioral Health Center in the Californian city of Pomona on Saturday (30th May). He reportedly jumped out of a bathroom window and scaled a barbed wire fence to escape the secure facility, according to Fox. Los Angeles County’s Probation Department and sheriff's spokeswoman Nicole Nishida confirmed Dunn had been arrested on Wednesday morning but did not give further details of Dunn’s whereabouts at the time of his apprehension.

Dunn was first reported to police as a problem for Kunis in February 2012 when he broke into her empty home. In May of the same year, Dunn was arrested again for repeatedly waiting for Kunis outside her gym, in violation of a restraining order filed against him by the Ted actress.

The case went to trial in January 2013 and Dunn was charged with stalking. He was sentenced to six months rehabilitation and five years probation. He was further ordered to stay away from Kunis and any of her representatives for ten years.

The authorities were concerned, upon learning of Dunn’s release, Dunn may attempt to contact Kunis once again as he continues to “have a fixation on the original victim”. Kunis, who is engaged to Ashton Kutcher and has a young daughter, was informed of Dunn’s escape.
