Miles Teller only wanted to ''smoke pot'' in college.

The 'Fantastic Four' star has admitted he didn't focus as much on acting when he was younger as he was more worried about ''getting high''.

He explained to Esquire magazine: ''I didn't do a single play when I was in college, because all I wanted to do was smoke pot. I did zero extracurricular activities so I could get high.

''I stopped when I started doing movies and went to LA because I can't get a phone call and not answer it.''

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old actor previously revealed, despite his huge success, he has no plans on paying his student loan off any quicker than normal.

He said: ''My business manager says the interest is so low, there's no sense in paying them off. I can, if I want to have that badge of accomplishment, but until then I still very much have my NYU loans.

''I couldn't tell you a single thing I learned in college. You're into it at the time and then when you leave, you kind of forget it.''

And Miles also admitted he has no plans to change how he chooses future acting projects.

He added: ''I never pick anything based on, oh, this is what's out there. I don't work for the sake of working. Everything that comes my way has been thought out in terms of what it's doing.''
