The Whiplash star took issue with being called "a d**k" who can "charm the world with his d**kiness" in a cover story by Esquire magazine, and he took to Twitter.com to blast editors for "misrepresenting" him, insisting they "couldn't be more wrong".

His Fantastic Four co-stars have now taken to social media to defend Teller to Esquire bosses, with Kate Mara writing, "My movie husband @Miles_Teller is crazy talented and a truly fantastic person..." while Jamie Bell adds, "@Miles_Teller is a great actor & a great guy..."

Michael B. Jordan also joined in, writing, "@Miles_Teller is my boy and I'm a great judge of character..."

Esquire editors have not yet responded to the comments.
