Miley Cyrus and Drew Barrymore at The Daily Front Row's inaugural Fashion Los Angeles Awards

Fashion lovers and Hollywood fans were desperately checking in to the Sunset Tower Hotel to watch The Daily Front Row's Fashion Los Angeles Awards on 22nd January 2015. For those of you that have never heard of the Fashion Los Angeles Awards, don't worry; you aren't at fault as Thursday night's award show was the first of what is hoped to be annual event. An event which, apparently, honours the finest contributions to the style of Hollywood from the world of fashion.

For the inaugural event, a host of celebrities flocked to the Sunset Tower to present awards, or just watch the action unfold before them. Drew Barrymore and Ciara were called upon to present some of the prestigious awards, with stars like Rihanna, Katy Perry and Kanye West taking up the front row of seats for the show. Miley Cyrus also presented an award. Whilst wearing an oversized t-shirt emblazoned with the statement "I had nothing to wear so I put on this Moschino dress", Cyrus presented the awards for 'Womenswear Designer of the Year' to Jeremy Scott.

Throughout the rest of the ceremony, awards were presented to Gigi Hadid for Model of the Year; Calvin Klein's Italo Zucchelli for 'Menswear Designer of the Year'; Ilaria Urbinati for Menswear Stylist of the Year; Ann Caruso for Womenswear Stylist of the Year; Mazdack Rassi for Fashion Innovator of the Year; Ariel Foxman and InStyle for 'Fashion Media Brand of the Year'; Christian Louboutin for 'Shoe Designer of the Year'; and finally, August Getty for Emerging Designer of the Year.

'The Daily Front Row' has been running since November 2002 (often under the title 'The Daily') and is a primarily web-based fashion magazine. However, a glossy-paged print edition is sold every day during Fashion Week, and a new 'Hollywood Edition' of the magazine was created to coincide with the the ceremony.
