Are They Or Aren't They? After a Week of Breakup Buzz, Miley and Liam Are Taking a Break From the Mediia.

The Miley Cyrus/Liam Hemsworth are-they-aren’t they saga continues.

While Miley is hard at work on her upcoming album and Liam is busy promoting the upcoming Hunger Games sequel, the pair have not been seen together in ages and after Miley’s recent outings without her engagement ring, everyone is starting to speculate. Are they broken up? Have their reported fights finally taken a toll on the relationship? Was it Liam cheating or Miley going punk that did it? Everyone is getting all up in a twist about it and forgetting that maybe, just maybe, the ring really was getting fixed? As far as the tabloids know, neither Miley nor Liam have said anything about a breakup so far and, in fact, the former Disney princess is adamant that she and her beau are still together. In typical Miley fashion, she took to twitter to defend her relationship and her privacy. All the Can't Be Tamed singer wants to focus on now is her music, if her Twitter stream is to be believed. Earlier on in the week she posted several tweets to that effect: “I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn't call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining”. She later continued “not discussing anything but my music from now on.”

While Liam chills out in Australia, Miley is on damage control in LA.

While his ladylove has been fuming in LA, Liam Hemsworth has been kicking it in his hometown in Australia, where his parents shelled out $1.6 million for a beachfront home. The Hunger Games star is reportedly holidaying there with his family, presumably while the dust settles and the twitter-ers settle down.
