Miley Cyrus wants a pre-nuptial agreement which allows her to keep custody of her dogs with Liam Hemsworth.

The 20-year-old actress got engaged to the 'Hunger Games' actor earlier this year and while they are deeply in love, Miley wants to protect both her $130 million assets and the dogs they share together if the marriage breaks down.

A source told Life&Style: ''Miley is worth over $130 million and has no plans to lose her nest egg in case of divorce.

''She has a half-dozen dogs that are her babies -- she doesn't want to lose them.''

While the couple haven't yet set a date, Miley recently revealed she already feels married to the 22-year-old actor.

The singer- who is currently working on a new album - said: ''I am married in my heart and my mind. I do everything that I would be if I had the paper, but I want to take the time to actually enjoy it.''

''My most important thing right now is ... I want people to hear what I want to say and get my record out, so when there is a time that I can take some time off, I'll feel like I accomplished my stuff. Then I can take a break and just enjoy being married for a little while.''
