Miley Cyrus is back! not that she ever went away for long or anything but still, the singer has teased the first snippet from her upcoming fourth album in the shape of the track 'We Can't Stop.' Her still-untitled album is due to be released by the end of the year.

The singer premiered the track on Ryan Seacrest's On Air With Ryan Seacrest this Monday (June 3), giving a phone-in interview with the host to discuss the track and explain what it means to her. "Everyone always judges and says what they want, but my fans… have really stood by me no matter what I've been through … and this is a song that says where I'm at in my life right now."

Doing her best Rihanna impression over a subtle piano track that turns into a fuzzy, club-friendly synth drop, it seems that the point in her life that Miley was alluding to is the party-hungry years of the late teens/early twenties. With lyrics like "shaking it like a stripper" and references to "molly" (aka MDMA) and unspecified "lines" being taken in a toilet, the song demonstrates the the 20-year-old singer throwing off the shackles of her Disney heritage. So yeah, parents should probably prevent their younger kids from listening to the song, at least until they're in college.

A quick look through her album collaborators also points to a more grown-up sound too, featuring trap artist Future and legendary hip-hop producer Pharrell Williams. Will.i.am is also on the board of producers too, so there may still be a poppier element to the album in some places, but overall the album is expected to have a much heavier, dance-orientated sound.
