In what is without any competition the greatest remix of the year, Miley Cyrus and Stevie Nicks have teamed up for a stunning medley of the former's newest hit 'Midnight Sky' and the latter's iconic 1982 solo single 'Edge of Seventeen'; this is the 'Edge of Midnight' remix.
Miley dropped the infectious lead single from her forthcoming album 'Plastic Hearts' in the Summer, and now she's unveiled this incredible new rendition which will also feature on the album alongside live covers of Blondie's 'Heart of Glass' and The Cranberries' 'Zombie'. We honestly can't wait to see what else she's conjured for this next album.
She's had help from the likes of Mark Ronson, Max Martin, The Neptunes, Andrew Wyatt, Billy Idol and more in carving out the sound for her seventh studio album.
The days of the hip-hop influenced 'Bangerz' are long over now, and even the country style she took on for 2017's 'Younger Now' are a distant memory. Now it seems she's gone down the road of 80s rock chick, though with an unmistakeably modern twist. She's even cited influences from Britney Spears and Metallica to throw us off in case we tried to predict where 'Plastic Hearts' might be going.
'Plastic Hearts' will be released on November 27th through RCA Records.
