Miranda Kerr's ''greatest luxury'' is being at home.

The 32-year-old model - who has four-year-old son Flynn with ex-husband Orlando Bloom - has to travel a lot with her work so cherishes the time she gets to spend with her little boy in their Los Angeles residence.

She said: ''I loved living in New York - I was there for ten years - but LA suits family; it's better for my son to have a garden.

'I've got a house now, which is nice, and I have speakers out by the pool. I love to go swimming with Flynn with music playing. ...

''Flynn and I love picking vegetables from the garden together.

''Well, I do have some help with the gardening...because I'm not always there.

''For me, just being home is the greatest luxury of all.''

As well as her modelling career, Miranda is also busy with her own Kora Organics company, and has also designed a jewellery collection for Swarovski and her many commitments don't leave her with as much time to let her hair down as she'd like.

She told You magazine: ''I wish I had more time to do karaoke. I like Shania Twain's 'Man! I Feel Like a Woman' or 'You're Still The One', but definitely Shania Twain.''

Though they are no longer a couple, Miranda and her 'Lord of the Rings' star ex-husband have remained ''so close'' for the sake of their son.

She said: ''Orlando and I are so close - at four this morning, when I was jet-lagged, I was, like, 'OK, does Flynn want to FaceTime?' and Orlando replied, 'Of course!' So then I spoke to my son while he was taking a bath in LA.''
