Miranda Lambert just released her new album Platinum on Tuesday, making this the busiest week of her year and probably the worst time for unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately, on the same day, Lambert’s private plane had to make an emergency landing. The country superstar and her team were flying the familiar course from New York to Nashville, when the plane lost pressure and had to land in Clarksburg, West Virginia. The passengers then had to spend three hours on the ground, before continuing sounthward, according to CBS news.

But don’t worry, the fiery singer and her entourage found ways to entertain themselves during the wait.

The group hung out with firefighters on the scene and even got to try on their shiny hazmat suits – a perfect photo op, if ever we’ve seen one. They also listened to a lot of country music.

"All in all, it was a pretty good day," Lambert’s publicist, Wes Vause, concluded his statement.
