Winston Mumford was turned away from his own after party at the BRITS.
Winston Mumford is really letting the team down. He's going to have to start carving out a unique new look or begin dressing more Mumford And Sons-sy, after being turned away from his own BRIT Awards after-party this week. Young Winston, feeling on top of the world after his band scooped Best British Group, strode up to the Universal Records bash in the early hours of Thursday but was duly rejected. He's only the banjo player, so it's no biggie.
According to The Sun, poor Winston was left standing in the cold asking if anyone had a spare ticket after bouncers said he wasn't allowed to enter. The musician was eventually granted entry and certainly made the most of it, hitting the dance floor and spending time chatting with Taylor Swift. They even swapped numbers before the party wound up at around 3am.
Harry Styles' ex-girlfriend was manning the decks alongside Brits host James Corden, Rizzle Kicks, Marcus Mumford and wife Carey Mulligan. Elsewhere, Jessie J partied away with Ellie Goulding and actor Jeremy Irvine and, somewhat bizarrely, West Ham player Mark Noble and ex-Spurs defender Ledley King bopped away too. Cool guy Frank Ocean just played it, well, cool.
