Fania DJ Series releases their second collection of tracks featuring DJ Format selecting the class cuts that are on this album. In fact the selection is primo pimp fantastic. I don't mean that at all in the sense of 'bling' I mean that in the sense of true sophistication. There are some choice cuts on here that capture all the brilliance of Latin music combined with great funk and soul that is guaranteed to get to your funky, cool soul. This album is just so darn sexy, smooth and elegant. There's no doubt there's some rare tracks on here and outstanding vocals. DJ Format intelligently selects tune after tune that flow really well together to get the party going and the vintage flavour of the album just seems to get better each time you hear it like an a mature wine. It's all very tasty, cool and sophisticated. A great compilation.
