Raw2thebone - Parkside Hotel, Pontefract Live Review

Review of the club night Raw2thebone.

This is another fast growing event that pulls in people from all over the north.
Having started in the back room of a pub it is now regularly pulling in upwards of 500 punters at a time, despite being located in Pontefract.

Not that there is anything wrong with Ponty, but I'm sure it's not the first place that springs to mind when you think of going clubbing!
The last 3 events have been held at the Parkside Hotel opposite Pontefract racecourse and have all been sold out.

The main reason for this success is the quality of the resident DJs, all of them local lads and in particular Paj Jenkins, Lee Tracey and DJ Tone, along with Shaun Rose, Cooki, the Excellent Philthy Jennorators and a host of others
Playing everything from tech trance to banging hardstyle to enough BPMs to cause brain damage these lads can make any room bounce and have the crowd chanting for more.

Add guest DJs such as Suni Feenix, Morgan, Ben Stevens, Shaun T and many others to the mix and this is a night to remember and deserves to go onto bigger and better things. It would be good to see them branching out onto the festival circuit next summer.
