Review of The Bluefoot Project Album by Observations

News & Reviews
1. Observations The Bluefoot Project (12" - Chocolate Fireguard)
Yorkshires own Bluefoot Project should very soon be reaping the benefits of an outstanding debut.
The seven tracker (comprising of three originals, three remixes and one acapella) is an impressive display of musical initiative and the, all too often absent, ability to write a good song. This alongside the outstanding vocal talents of lead singer Rachel Modest, whose smoky and unforgettable tones are somewhere between David McAlmont (of McAlmont & Butler) and Roberta Flack, make for a potent musical cocktail.
Soul, jazz prog rock, its all in there, plus uptempo offerings in the form of remixes by Cienna and Acetate. An unmissable release.
