The Most Terrifying Thing Victoriana Album

Where have all the good rock albums gone? It's been one of my constant gripes lately. Thank goodness then for the awkwardly-named Most Terrifying Thing. Anyone looking for the heirs of Nirvana, Bush and Headswim could do no better than this. My favourite track changes from day to day - there's the Nevermind drenched angst of Pop Song, the hit single hookiness of Programmed and the hypnotic, sky-scraping chorus of Silent Type. All in all these Liverpool boys have created an album that, whilst not breaking too many new musical boundaries, is one of the most listenable and memorable albums I've heard in months. Love it.
