Naomi Campbell has been unveiled as the new face of Newbridge Silverware for the next two years.
Naomi Campbell is the new face of Newbridge Silverware.
The 45-year-old model will be the spokesmodel for the Irish jewellery brand for the next two years and said she loved the ''craftsmanship'' of the designs.
She said: ''I've known about Newbridge for a while. We've been talking since the beginning of the year and I also know about Newbridge because I used to live in Dublin and I know the craftsmanship and the work and the designs. The craftsmanship that goes into what you do is amazing.
She added: ''For me this partnership is about making affordable, quality design available to style lovers all over the world. I look forward to working with Newbridge Silverware to help tell their story over the next two years.''
Newbridge CEO William Doyle said Naomi ''put the word super into supermodel'' and added: ''We are delighted to today reveal Naomi Campbell as the new face of Newbridge Silverware. As one of the most beautiful and recognisable faces in the world, Naomi embodies grace, style, beauty and strength and is the ideal fit for us. Working with Naomi, we want to take our brand to a new level and continue to grow our appeal both in Ireland and internationally.''
This is Naomi's first campaign for an Irish brand but the model lived in the country when she was engaged to U2's Adam Clayton in the Nineties.
