Zack Taylor (Ludi Lin), Kimberly Hart (Naomi Scott), Billy Cranston (RJ Cyler), Trini (Becky G) and Jason Lee Scott (Dacre Montgomery) are five kids with a lot in common; they're all high-schoolers with pretty screwed up lives and going through a lot of the kind of problems that regular teenagers go through. That is until one day, when they stumble across what looks like a long-abandoned spaceship which they somehow manage to accidentally open. Once inside the ship, it soon becomes clear that they are not alone and are very much trapped. It's not the most friendly welcome to their new master as they could have, but they soon realise that Zordon and his robot minion Alpha 5 mean no harm.
In fact, they have chosen these very kids to unite together and become their Power Rangers; superheroes on which the world depends. Of course, they don't believe that they really have super powers at first, but after a series of minor incidents, they are forced to accept their newfound destiny - and quickly because a deadly force is already on the rise led by the dastardly Rita Repulsa.
'Power Rangers' (sometimes known as 'Saban's Power Rangers') is the third and newest movie from the superhero franchise, coming 22 years after 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie'. It has been directed by by Dean Israelite ('Project Almanac') with a screenplay written by the Academy Award nominated John Gatins ('Flight', 'Real Steel'), and it is set to be released in theatres on March 24th 2017.
Actress Naomi Scott loved learning the choreography for 'Power Rangers' fight scenes.
As fun as it might be to get to work on a superhero movie, especially as a young adult, there's no denying the physical challenges that come alongside it. For Naomi Scott training for 'Power Rangers' took almost a month, but it wasn't just the work outs that they had to be ready for.

As they begin to experiment with their new powers, they find they can fight, jump and withstand huge amounts of force.
Their new personal changes are not the only thing the teenagers have to think about, they're also faced with information that will cause a great darkness to be cast over the world. For most people in the modern world, they don't need to think about the consequences of modern day living, it's hard to think that people still need to mine land physically and often in treacherous conditions. In 2010 the world was reminded of just how risky that job can be.
When a 100+ year-old copper & gold mine in Chile suffers considerable damage to the shaft due to a cave-in, the world's news is quick to report the disaster. All life was thought to be lost and there was little hope of finding survivors, however deep inside the mine, a group of 33 men were fighting for survival. As the world learnt of their battle for survival, the onlookers could only imagine the tribulations the men inside faced. Main communication with the outside world was from one miner called Mario who was affectionately named 'super Mario', thanks to his videos, he could relay information to the support crew telling them about the men's wellbeing and progress.
Director Patricia Riggen's The 33 was filmed with the cooperation of the miners and tells their story from 700 meters underground. The 33 is Patricia Riggen's first major directorial role, though in 2012 she shot Girl In Progress starring Eva Mendes.
Mark Watney is an astronaut whose resourceful and determined personality is the only thing he has to rely on when he is accidentally abandoned on Mars when his team abort their mission in the face of an oncoming storm. He is presumed dead, but he has miraculously survived, though injured, and now must do everything within his power to get a message to NASA, calculating that if they get it, he still has to survive for four years until they reach him. He has little left in the way of supplies and is living in a Hab which is meant for only a month's worth of use. On his to do list is to attempt to grow crops to survive on, and do everything he can to make water. Luckily for him, a message does reach NASA and his crewmates immediately come together to work out how to rescue their man.
