Fact: TV design guru Nate Berkus and his husband Jeremiah Brent became first-time fathers in March (15). The couple welcomed a daughter, Poppy Brent-Berkus, via surrogate. Berkus told People magazine of his joy, saying, "Our paternal instincts kicked in almost instantly. She came out with her eyes open, looking around like she had been waiting for us."
