Naught Boy is the ''most fun and crazy person'', according to Neelam Gill.

The 21-year-old model has praised the 32-year-old musician and rapper -whose real name is Shahid Khan - for being the wildest friend, and she has admitted she will regularly call the 'La La La' hitmaker when she wants to go out because he lives nearby.

When asked who is number one on her call list when she is planning a night out, the brunette told ES magazine: ''My friend Naughty Boy. He's a producer and lives a few roads away from me. He's the most fun and crazy person I know.

Naughty Boy Zayn Malik

Naughty BoyNaughty Boy and Zayn Malik’s feud may finally be over.

'New Zayn Malik' Song Is In Fact Old One Direction Song

Zayn Malik Naughty Boy One Direction Louis Tomlinson

Contrary to reports doing the rounds, the ‘new’ Zayn Malik track ‘I Won’t Mind’ that emerged online following his departure from pop stars One Direction is actually no such thing.

Fans might have been understandably misled when, earlier on Tuesday, a song featuring Zayn was posted on SoundCloud by British producer Naughty Boy, which many took to be the ex-Directioner’s first solo material. However, a source close to the 22 year old star told MailOnline that this was merely an old song that never saw the light of day.

Who Is BRIT Awards Winner Sam Smith?

Sam Smith Naughty Boy Disclosure Brit Awards

Sam Smith is fast becoming one of the most recognised names in the music biz, particularly after his successes at last week's Brit Awards and Sunday's news that he is top of the UK singles chart. In October 2012 he featured on the Disclosure single 'Latch', which catapulted both Sam and the now hugely successful electronic music duo, into the limelight. The catchy tune reached number eleven in the UK charts and paved the way for Sam’s next single, "La La La", which he co-released with British DJ and songwriter, Naughty Boy. "La La La" went on to secure the UK charts number one spot in May 2013, which can definitely be held as a contributing factor towards his nomination for the 2014 BRIT Critics’ Choice Award as well as his achievement topping the BBC Sound of 2014 Poll.

On Wednesday night, Sam went on to win his first BRIT award and it looks like this is just the beginning of the budding musicians career. But who is Sam Smith? Since he appeared on the scene back in 2012 his name has been everywhere but some of us are still none the wiser about who the man behind the voice really is.

Naughty Boy - Hotel Cabana Album Review

Shahid Khan, aka Naughty Boy, may not have been the most well-known artist, but his production credits include work by Tinie Tempah, Leona Lewis and, perhaps most prominently, Emeli Sande's mega-selling 'Our Version Of Events'.  Naughty Boy's debut sees her return the favour of collaboration, and includes guest spots from many other contemporaries.

Naughty Boy - Hotel Cabana Album Review

The first of three pieces by George The Poet introduce a mysterious tone that is carried into 'Welcome To Cabana', on which vocals are provided by the aforementioned Tempah and Sande.  The juxtaposition of their styles works well on a track that is concise, clocking in at less than two minutes, but it is on the following 'Wonder' that Sande really takes the spotlight.  Energetic and infectious, it has hooks aplenty and a genuine carnival vibe that overshadows her later work on 'Lifted', a decent club track in its own right.  One of the best examples of Naughty Boy's ability to craft a fine tune is 'Hollywood', on which one of the most radio-friendly voices of the last two decades, Gabrielle, turns in a performance full of attitude that matches the stomp of the track.

By far the standout moment of the record is the Sam Smith collaboration 'La La La'.  A masterful slice of garage-pop, it has undeniable hooks that will stay in your head for days and border on annoyance - but crucially remain enjoyable.  It's no surprise it has been nominated for Best Single at the 2014 Brit Awards and there can be no complaints if it lands the prize.  Unfortunately for this album, it marks a turning point, not that the soul power balladry of 'So Strong' is a mistake for being a marked change in style, just that it sounds regrettably like The Fray.  Bastille's turn on 'No One's Here To Sleep' also fails to impress with its contrived desperation, whilst 'Top Floor (Cabana) is a typical Ed Sheeran turn, but not what is required here.  A quartet of bonus tracks close the album, of which a string-laden cover of Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky' is the song of note.  The organic approach works well and Tanika's vocals do justice to one of last year's biggest hits, resulting in an appropriate high toward the end of a record that starts brilliantly, but loses its way.

Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' The Biggest Selling UK Single Of 2013, So Far

Robin Thicke Daft Punk Passenger Naughty Boy Katy Perry Macklemore Justin Timberlake

'Blurred Lines' is the biggest selling single of 2013 in the UK, the Official Charts Company revealed today (7 Dec), having sold more than 1 million copies in the UK alone. Robin Thicke's controversial track managed to beat Daft Punk's come-back single 'Get Lucky' to the top of the yearly chart, providing these results don't prompt a huge surge in re-interest in the Daft Punk track.

Thicke's position as the top selling artist might not be assured yet

With 1.44 million copies sold in the UK, Thicke's single edged ahead of the French electronic heroes by a few thousand copies, with 'Get Lucky' so far having sold 1.28 million copies. Either way, this is great news for Pharrell Williams, who appears on both tracks.

Labrinth And Emeli Sande Climb To The Top Of The UK Singles Chart

Labrinth Naughty Boy Taylor Swift Adele Swedish House Mafia Calvin Harris Florence Welch

Labrinth and Emeli Sande marked an impressive end to the week in the charts, as their collaborative effort, 'Beneath Your Beautiful', took the top spot thanks to an appearance on The X Factor over the weekend.

It didn’t matter who was voted to stay on the show, as the London rapper and Scotish singer Sandé proved to be the real winners of the weekend, and Emeli in particular had a weekend worth writing home about. Her collaboration with Labrinth went from 85 to number one in the charts over the space of a week, whilst her other collaboration, with rapper Naughty Boy, made it to number 10 in the charts. Her album, Our Version of Events, re-entered the upper echelons of the charts for the umpteenth time this year too, coming in second place behind Taylor Swift and her new album, Red.

Sandé’s album is the highest selling album of 2012 now, with Adele’s 21 finally being knocked from its perch. The rest of the top three was made up of Swedish House’s ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ and Calvin Harris and Florence Welch’s collab. ‘Sweet Nothing’ take numbers two and three respectively. Meanwhile, on the eve of the film’s release, Adele’s Bond theme ‘Skyfall’ fell down to seventh.
