Netflix's 'A Series Of Unfortunate Events' Gains Early Renewal For Third Season
The show proved hugely successful for its streaming service home, Netflix.
Back in 2004, Jim Carrey would take the lead role in a movie adaptation of the first three books in the Lemony Snicket property, 'A Series Of Unfortunate Events'. Whilst many loved his rendition of the evil Count Olaf and enjoyed the flick, it wasn't the best-received movie, and those interested soon learned that its first big screen outing would also be its last.

Fast-forward to the modern day, and the series has been given new life in the form of a Netflix original. Premiering earlier this year, fans got to witness Neil Patrick Harris take on the role of Count Olaf, starring amongst a talented cast that also included Patrick Warburton, Malina Weissman and Louis Hynes.
