It would seem the recently released trailer for Jodie Foster's episode of 'Black Mirror' is just the beginning of the hype game for the upcoming fourth season, with the Netflix original show looking likely to return before the end of the year.

Now, another teaser has worked its way online for a new episode called 'Crocodile', directed by John Hillcoat and starring the likes of Andrea Riseborough, Kiran Sonia Sawar and Andrew Gower. You can check it out below:

Clearly putting out the message that memories are subjective, this particular episode looks to be a cross between something like a crime drama, alongside the traditional 'Black Mirror' exploration of the rise of technology and its potential impact on the modern-day world.

In the show, Sawar looks to be playing an investigator trying to piece together all of the important moments that took place before, during and after a crime. In her detective work however, she seems to find out a secret belonging to Riseborough's character, that the latter would have hoped to keep closely under wraps.

With the tagline "memories can be subjective" hammered through, it's clear that whilst investigators will in the episode be able to delve into certain recollections, they may not be entirely accurate to exactly what has really taken place. What we may think is obvious to us all is that when we look back on things, we remember it with precision and dedication, but when you really sit down and think about your memories - especially those that are distant and far back in the mind - you start to wonder whether you've added any layers to the memory, or if you're actually 100% accurate.

It's a fantastic idea for an episode of 'Black Mirror', and one we can't wait to see fully explored when it comes to Netflix in the near future.
