More bands join the line-up for Camden's hottest rock event, and there's more to come.
New Model Army and ex Sex Pistols' bassist Glen Matlock are among the newly announced additions to London's coolest rock event, Camden Rocks 2015, which will take place in May across some of Camden's hottest and most recognisable venues.
Jaws also join the Camden Rocks 2015 line-up
80s post-punk legends New Model Army join the already electric line-up alongside Glen Matlock from the Sex Pistols, Birmingham's Jaws, post-hardcore four-piece Glamour of the Kill and Australia born bluesy duo The Graveltones according to the latest announcement for the festival, which is set to arrive on May 30th 2015, with a very special headliner who is yet to be unveiled.
Matlock admits he's thrilled to return to his Camden fixture. 'Played the first, missed the second, so third time lucky amongst all the spring and not so spring chickens', he said. 'People ask me if I have advice to young bands - sure do: get out of my way I'm not done yet.' Meanwhile, New Model Army are equally looking forward to the prospect, with frontman Justin Sullivan insisting he's 'happy to be there... Bring it on'.
Further new additions are newcomers Damn Dice, Tropical Contact, Ducking Punches, In Search of Sun, Broken Witt Rebels, White Room and Lost Gravity. They'll be joining the likes of already announced Funeral For A Friend, Heavens Basement, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Turbowolf, Richie Ramone of the Ramones, Menswear, and ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead.
Some of the venues already announced are equally worth mentioning. Fans will flock to Camden hotspots Electric Ballroom, Underworld, Barfly, Jazz Cafe, Dingwalls, BrewDog, The Stillery and others.
Tickets for Camden Rocks 2015 are priced at £30 plus booking fee.
