Yet another warning to television stations that pluck stuff off the Internet without vetting it properly. A station in Denver is being ridiculed for displaying a doctored photo of Paula Broadwell's book about General David Petraeus, who recently resigned as head of the CIA amid a scandal linking him romantically with Broadwell. The book is titled All In, but some Internet joker had altered the title to read All Up In My Snatch and posted it online -- and that is what Denver station KMGH, an ABC affiliate, displayed during a report about the latest developments in the Petraeus affair. The Photoshopped cover was first noticed by Americablog, which displayed a screen shot from the telecast. That photo was quickly picked up by other websites. The station itself offered no explanation for airing the fake cover, except to say, It was a mistake.
