Primal Scream have a new bass player.
The 'Swastika Eyes' band have recruited Simone Butler to fill the space of Mani, who left the band last year to reform The Stone Roses.
In the interim period the group had played live with Debbie Googe of My Bloody Valentine, although she was not brought in as a permanent replacement.
The band have recently recorded their 10th album, but worked without a bass player.
Little is known about Simone's past and previous experience, but singer Bobby Gillespie previously said anybody joining the group would have to be of a ''high calibre''
He explained: ''We haven't thought about who to replace Mani. We're gonna finish the record first and then think about it then.
''We've got a few ideas. We're not short of people who want to join, put it that way. High-calibre players as well. You've got to be good to join our band.''
Bobby has previously said he was happy for Mani - real name Gary Mounfield - to go back to The Stone Roses, his first band, because he had wanted them to get back together for years.
He said: ''I just want to see him happy because I love him. I'm sure he will be back playing with us at some point in the future.
''He had been wanting to [reform the group] for years. I'll go and see them live - The Stones Roses are a f***ing great band.''
