Hit author Nicholas Sparks appeared as part of AOL's BUILD series to talk about the upcoming film adaptation of his 2011 novel 'The Best of Me'. The books adaptation has been directed by Michael Hoffman, and features 'X-Men' star James Marsden alongside 'True Detective''s Michelle Monaghan.
'The Best of Me' is the ninth book by Sparks to be adapted for the screen. The first was his 1998 novel 'Message in a Bottle' which was released as a movie the following year. Other notable works include his 1996 debut novel 'The Notebook' and 2006's 'Dear John'.
