Mariah Carey has reportedly split up with her boyfriend Bryan Tanaka, after just five months of dating, after the professional dancer reportedly became jealous of Mariah’s ongoing relationship with her ex-husband Nick Cannon.

The glamorous diva and her backing dancer Tanaka grew close late last year in the immediate aftermath of the collapse of Mariah’s engagement to billionaire James Packer. In February this year, the singer went public with the relationship after three months of dating.

Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas' song is set to be made into a movie.

The golden-haired powerhouse released the popular track in 1994, and over 20 years later the blonde beauty has revealed the single will be transformed into a film.

The star announced the news on social media on Tuesday (21.03.17). She tweeted: ''My song is becoming a movie! You're the first to hear about this exciting news! Follow @AllIWantMovie for more updates. #AllIWantMovie (sic).''

Mariah Carey posted a message of support for ex husband Nick Cannon on Instagram, Sunday, defending him over "false allegations looming in the press.”

The singer did not state what the allegations against the father of her children were, however her post comes just days after Cannon hit out at the National Enquirer over a story they appear to be planning to run, alleging that Carey will be petitioning for full custody of their children because of Cannon's “erratic behaviour”.

‘America’s Got Talent’ host Nick Cannon has dropped a strong hint that he’s about to walk away from the show, posting a lengthy update via his official Facebook page mentioning “dignity” and “integrity”.

The comedian, who has hosted the NBC reality competition for 12 seasons since 2009, claims that networks execs are threatening to fire him over a joke he made about race in a recent Showtime stand-up comedy special.

“After days of deliberating over some extremely disappointing news that I was being threatened with termination by Executives because of a comedy special that was only intended to bring communities closer together, I was to be punished for a joke,” the 36 year old star posted on Monday (February 13th).

‘America’s Got Talent’ host Nick Cannon has given his fans an update on his health, having spent the Christmas period laid up in hospital following complications in his fight with the autoimmune disease lupus.

Addressing his followers in an Instagram video on Wednesday (December 28th), the 36 year old presenter said he’s “about to get out” of hospital and that he’d be taking things to “a whole new level” in the new year.

“What’s good? I got so much love for y’all. Thank you so much. I’m still in this hospital but I’m about to get out up here, for real, and I’m letting you know we’re about to take it to a whole new level,” Cannon said.

Mariah Carey has revealed that her billionaire fiancé, Australian businessman James Packer, is a big fan of her music. The couple became engaged in January, after less than a year of dating, and they're currently busy planning their wedding, while Carey also films her first reality show for E!.

Cannon released the track on KarenCivil.com along with a lengthy explanation about the song. “My purpose for creating this ‘Divorce Papers’ freestyle was not to feed the tabloid chatter, or even to diffuse it,” he explained. “This was strictly a creative way for me to express my frustrations with the media, the naysayers, myself and ultimately with the voices in my head.”

A revival of Nick Cannon’s MTV comedy series Wild’n Out is finally happening. The reboot has reportedly been in the works for a long time, but it is only now that Cannon has taken the time out to actually work on it, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This time, however, the producer, actor and host of the comedy series will create the season for sister network MTV2.

Cannon worked on the show in his break from hosting America's Got Talent.

According to Cannon, the revival is responding to a demand that has existed for a while. "People have been in talks about it for a long time, and I just had to really buckle down and say, "OK, I’m going to take the time out to actually do it,'" Cannon tells The Hollywood Reporter. The show’s premise is largely unchanged – two teams of celebrities will compete in a range of comedic challenges, ranging from freestyle rap battles to standup routines. The show will return with an updated cast and roster of guest performers, including the likes of Guy Code's Lil DuVal, Amar'e Stoudemire, Mac Miller, 2Chainz, Machine Gun Kelly, A$AP Rocky and Joe Budden.

Mariah Carey was hospitalized in New York on Sunday (July 7, 2013) after suffering an injury on the set of a video shoot for a remix version of her song '#Beautiful' with rapper Young Jeezy. The song features Grammy winner and amateur crowd-surfer Miguel and peaked at No.15 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

Her representative told CBS News that Mariah went to hospital in New York after suffering a shoulder injury while shooting the video. It is not clear whether she fell, or was struck, though the singer's rep added that "doctors reset her shoulder" and that "she is fine". Some reports have suggested she may have tripped over while dancing in towering feels for the video - which is directed by Mariah's husband Nick Cannon - however this remains pure speculation.

The singer will still perform with the New York Philharmonic on Central Park's Great Lawn this Saturday. This show, for the 2013 MLB All-Star Charity Concert, will benefit victims of Superstorm Sandy.

Mariah Carey is being called out on her performance at the BET Music Awards on Sunday (June 30), with viewers complaining that the singer was clearly lip-syncing during her performance with singer Miguel and rapper Young Jeezy. Although it isn't uncommon for singers to lip-sync their parts at award shows that are prone to sound interruption and involve exhaustive dance routines, the singer has still been called out on her performance.

Mariah will have to defend herself against the accusations.

Just over a month after she had to deny lip-syncing a medley of her greatest hits during the American Idol finale, the singer has to answer to the naysayers once again. The singer was performing her new single '#Beautiful,' with a guest verse from Jeezy, and during the high-octane performance the singer seemed to be singing, on occasion, with the help of a backing track.

Mariah Carey went with a fairy tale theme for the renewal of her vows with hubby Nick Canon at (where else) the most magical place on earth. The couple, along with some 250 of their closest friends, closed down Disneyland for the day, presumably because it ain’t magical, if it isn’t exclusive.

"On our way to renew our vows. I love you Nick Cannon shut down Disneyland," Carey tweeted. "Celebrating our anniversary and dembabies birthday (can you believe they're 2??)."

Carey’s twin girls Morroccan and Monroe were born on April 30th 2011, exactly three years to the day after Carey and Canon’s wedding in 2008. Naturally, for the A-List family this means a chance to do things twice as big. According to Entertainment Tonight, via Reuters, the reception in the Disney theme park's Fantasyland area was adorned with 15,000 blooms and 10,000 crystals.

We’ve all heard of a fairytale wedding, but a fairytale vow renewal? Well, that’s news to us, that one. Still, that’s exactly the vibe that Mariah Carey (a grown woman, we hasten to add) decided to opt for when she and husband Nick Cannon renewed their vows at Disneyland last night (April 30, 2013).

Dressed as a princess, Mariah Carey celebrated her 5th anniversary with Nick at California Disneyland’s ‘Happiest Place On earth,’ and made the treat a joint 2nd birthday treat for their twins, Entertainment Tonight has reported. In the morning, Carey tweeted “On our way to renew our vows” and added “I love you @NickCannon. During the vow renewal, Carey wore a matching princess costume with her daughter Monroe and the mother and daughter were collected in a horse-drawn Crystal Carriage, from a Dream Suite inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. From there, they were taken to Main Street to meet Nick and Moroccan. Then off they all went to the Sleeping Beauty Castle to renew their vows. Sounds pretty sickly, huh?

250 of the couples friends and family were guests at the fairytale ceremony, which culminated in a pyrotechnics display over the castle’s spires. What followed was a lavish party, with Nick DJing (pretty normal) and 10,000 flowers imported from South Africa, Holland and France (not so normal). Oh and 10,000 crystals (even less normal).

Didn't get your fill with the last dose of State-side halftime entertainment, well the NBA All-Star Weekend is here to help, with the show's line-up trying its best to out do Beyonce and co. last Sunday.

Taking place in Houston on Feb. 16-17, the showcase will be an all-star event in more than just b'ball-ability terms. Alicia Keys will be holding down the reigns at the halftime performance, whilst Ne-Yo will be performing before the main event. John Legend will perform the United States national anthem before the game. On the Saturday before, the newly reformed Fall Out Boy will be providing the half-time entertainment, their first live performance sine their 2009 split, whilst Ellie Goulding will play before the game.

The entertainment isn't just resigned to the match schedule though, as the full weekend of entertainment will also see American Idol winner Phillip Phillips performing on Saturday during the day, which will coincide with the time-honoured Skills Challenge, the Three-Point Contest and Slam Dunk Contest — all of which will be presided over by Nick Cannon.

Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey's husband of three years, in response to his wife's death threats from Nicki Minaj on American Idol, told E! that he wasn't 'worried about that stuff' and referred to the whole ordeal as 'drama'.

Carey clearly doesn't share her husband's blasé approach to her safety, reportedly having hired extra security after last week's confrontation between the two musicians. Minaj erupted in a tirade of abuse directed at Carey and stormed off stage, allegedly saying "If I had a gun I'd shoot the bitch".

Cannon's judgement of the drama and 'theatrics' seem right on the money, as an American Idol spokesperson said "This is one of the best, most passionate, dynamic and invested judging panels we've ever had... We love and support all of the judges and the fantastic work they are doing, and we can't imagine a better group to find the next American Idol." If a murderous duo constitute as 'one of the best' judging panels, one wonders what genuinely would make 'the best'.
