Nick Cannon enjoyed a romantic Valentine's Day (14.02.15) date with Nicole Murphy.

The 'America's Got Talent' host and the 'Hollywood Exes' star - who was previously married to Eddie Murphy and split from fiance Michael Strahan last August - arrived at New York's Tavern on the Green late on Saturday to celebrate the day of love with dinner.

An onlooker said: ''The couple showed up at 11 p.m., when most other diners were already gone. They were holding hands across the table, and gazing at each other throughout their meal.''

The couple were so smitten with one another, they didn't even notice when a song by Nick's estranged wife Mariah Carey - with who he has three-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe - began playing.

The source told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: ''Neither paid attention. They seemed very happy together.''

The Valentine's Day date marked the second time the pair have been seen together.

Last week, they were spotted dining at Bagatelle with another couple.

A source said: ''Nick and Nicole and their friends were dressed to the nines and laughing and having a great time.''

However, insiders insisted then they were not romantically involved.

Nicole - who was with Michael for five years before they split - recently said she was ''having fun'' being single but admitted she prefers being in relationships.

She said: ''I am having fun right now being single.

''I am not dating anyone special, but I do love being in a relationship.''
