The first trailer for Nick Frost's dancefloor comedy Cuban Fury has rolled out online and should please fans of the actor's previous efforts, particularly his collaborations with Simon Pegg, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and most recently, The World's End.

Having fallen head over heels for his American Boss, played by Rashida Jones, Frost's character Bruce Garrett decides to quit coasting through life and reignite his passion for salsa dancing.

He begins practises again though faces stiff competition in the form of Chris O'Dowd, who plays a real smug piece-of-something.

Directed by James Griffiths, Cuban Fury is essentially a who's-who of the cream of British acting talent, with Ian McShane, Olivia Colman and Rory Kinnear all in supporting roles.

Though fairly conventional looking, Cuban Fury looks a whole lot of fun and should perform well at the box-office when it opens on Valentine's Day in 2014.

During an interview with Flicks and the City, Frost said, "A man who was a fantastic salsa dancer and something happened to him, and he turned his back on the world of salsa. 28 years later, he's a slobby man, dead end job."

"Even though it's about dancing it's a comedy, I don't want people to think because it's got dancing in it.ohh we don't want to see it."

When asked whether he's a closet salsa fan, Frost explained, "No I hate it, I don't dance, I don't like dancing. And it's my own idea, so I've got nobody above myself to blame."

Cuban Fury hits cinemas in the UK on February 14, 2014.
