Fact: The creator of Wallace And Gromit, Nick Park, is auctioning off the inspiration behind the animated duo's van which appeared in THE CURSE OF THE WERE-RABBIT to raise funds for the Wallace and Gromit Children's Foundation. The 1958 Austin A35 is available to bidders on eBay.

Fact: Nick Park and Steve Box, the co-creators of WALLACE + GROMIT IN THE CURSE OF THE WERE-RABBIT, wore brightly coloured bow ties by British designer Paul Smith during the Oscar ceremony. Box's wife made identical small bow ties for their Oscar statuettes on the way to the award show.

Fact: WALLACE + GROMIT: THE CURSE OF THE WERE-RABBIT directors Nick Park and Steve Box celebrated their Best Animated Feature Oscar win last night (05MAR06) by giving their statuettes colourful bow-ties to match their own over-sized accessories.

Fact: <p>Animation genius Nick Park and his co-director Steve Box celebrated the BAFTA success of WALLACE + GROMIT: THE CURSE OF THE WERE-RABBIT - by placing a giant inflatable GROMIT statue in London's historical Trafalgar Square. The movie was named Outstanding British Film of the Year at Sunday's (19FEB06) star-studded ceremony. </p>
