According to MediaTakeOut Minaj ended the relationship on Thursday, though the pair will continue to tour together to fulfil existing obligations. A source told the website, “It’s complicated. I think they took their relationship too far, too fast.”

Mill’s drama with Drake all began on July 22nd when he accused the Canadian rapper of not writing his own raps during a Twitter tirade. “Stop comparing Drake to me too... He don't write his own raps! That's why he ain't tweet my album because we found out!” he tweeted.

Drake then responded by releasing diss track, ‘Charged Up’ which featured lyrics such as 'Wow, I’m honoured that you think this is staged / I’m flattered man, in fact I’m amazed…’ But Mill wasn't too impressed and described the track as ‘baby lotion soft’ on Twitter and added, ‘I can tell he wrote that 1 tho…’

A few days later Drake released a second track aimed at Mill titled’ Back to Back’ where he referenced the rapper’s relationship with Minaj and his guest spot on her current ‘Pinkprint’ tour. ‘This for y’all that think that I don’t write enough / They just mad ’cause I got the Midas touch,’ Drake raps.

'You love her, then you gotta give the world to her/Is that a world tour or your girl’s tour? / I know that you gotta be a thug for her / This ain’t what she meant when she told you to open up more,’ the track’s lyrics continued.

Then on Friday Mill finally released a diss tack of his own, ‘Wanna Know’, which didn't quite get the response he was aiming for. While both Drake’s tracks had been well received Mill’s effort seemed to get a resounding ‘is that it?’ when it debuted on Soundcloud.

In one of the best social media response to the track, Norm Kelly, a councilman for Drake’s home city of Toronto, wrote on twitter that Mill was ‘no longer welcome’ in the city and added, ‘this is the reason people hire ghostwriters #WeDidntWannaKnow’.
