Nicki Minaj wants to have a baby in five years.

The 29-year-old rapper plans to start a family within the next five years and she even joked about being keen to give birth on US talk show 'The Ellen Degeneres Show'.

When asked where she hopes to be in five years, Nicki told Ellen: ''Maybe I'll be having a baby. I would love to give birth on your show.''

Despite her lucrative rise to fame, the 'Starships' hitmaker doesn't like to splash her cash on presents for herself and she prefers to buy her friends lavish gifts, such as Range Rovers, because they get ''really excited''.

She added: ''I'm still not like a big spender ... I Love buying other people stuff, because when I buy myself something I feel like, I don't really need this. You know, 'Why am I getting it?' I just bought my best friends Range Rovers. They're really excited about that.''

While Nicki's latest album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' features some explicit lyrics, the blonde beauty insists she doesn't feel responsible for her younger fans, but she has urged her ''little ladybugs'' not to ''rush'' growing up.

She explained: ''You know what, I don't really think I have to deal with it. I'm not their parents... I can only give advice and you guys know I always give my young little ladybugs my most precious advice, which is to stay a child. Don't rush to grow up.
