Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage is one step closer to putting his financial problems behind him after reportedly paying off a $6 million (£3.8 million) tax bill.
In 2009, the Con Air star was reported to have racked up a debt of around $14 million (£8.8 million) to America's Internal Revenue Service (Irs) for income taxes dating from 2002 to 2004 and 2007.
However, Cage has now paid off a large chunk of the bill after handing over $6 million (£3.8 million) to tax officials, according to documents obtained by Tmz.com.
