Nicole Richie finds it a ''puzzle'' balancing her career and family life.

The 'Simple Life' star - who has son Sparrow James Midnight, six, and daughter Harlow Winter Kate, seven, with husband Joel Madden - admits she finds it comforting knowing other women find it a ''juggle'' too.

She told PEOPLE magazine: ''Saying that it is difficult sometimes is very comforting for other women to hear - just knowing that it is a juggle.

''It's just about doing what you can, finding the balance in your own life. Every family is different, every household is set up differently and it's just a constant game of prioritising - it's like a puzzle every day.''

Meanwhile, the 34-year-old television personality was reportedly ''persuaded'' to avoid any divorce proceedings from the Madden Brothers singer by her sister-in-law Cameron Diaz.
