Reality star Nicole Richie gets involved in the 'Bing Summer of Doing' in New York. She speaks to an interviewer about the Do Something organisation which encourages young people to participate in campaigns about various global, political and social issues. 'The most important thing is to really get these kids into the habit of really appreciating everything around them and coming together and making their community better', she says. At the event, she helps to restore the Mosaic Peace wall at the Jacob H. Schiff playground in New York. She is helped by 'High School Musical' actor and singer Corbin Bleu.Nicole Richie is perhaps best known for being singer Lionel Richie's adopted daughter and former best friend of socialite Paris Hilton with whom she starred in the reality show 'The Simple Life'
