Noah and the Whale's new single, Give It All Back, is the fifth to be taken from their third album Last Night On Earth and will be released on January 2nd, 2012. It follows on from their previous single, Waiting For My Chance To Come, which was released in September 2011. Noah and the Whale have announced a UK tour, which will start in March 2012 and continue into April.
The video for Give It All Back sees the band as children, performing for a school concert. Noah and the Whale themselves perform their song in a large, deserted house and was directed by the bands own Charlie Fink.
Last Night On Earth is one of the top 30 biggest selling albums in the UK in 2011, beating the likes of Kasabian; Arctic Monkeys and The Vaccines; and steadily catching up to Elbow; Coldplay and Mumford & Sons. Last Night on Earth peaked at number 8 in the UK album charts, making it their second album to reach the top 10; their debut album Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down reached number 5 in 2008 and their second album, The First Days Of Spring, reached number 16 in 2009.
