Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' have announced seven new UK tour dates.

The singer and his band have added the extra concerts after the initial seven shows of their 2012 British arena tour sold out almost instantly.

Noel will now also play in Aberdeen, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Bournemouth, Liverpool, Cardiff and Nottingham.

Next year's run of shows kicks off on February 13 in the ex-Oasis star's hometown of Manchester and the UK dates conclude in Nottingham on September 10.

The 'Everybody's on the Run' singer has completed the first leg of his North America tour and will next be heading to Europe, Japan and then Australia.

Tickets can be purchased at www.NoelGallagher.com from nine am on Friday 25 November but there will be an exclusive pre-sale available for UK fans signed up to the website's mailing list from Wednesday (23.11.11).

Meanwhile, Noel has revealed his North American dates have gone well and he especially loved being back in Los Angeles, the city where he part-recorded his solo album 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' and the final two Oasis albums.

Writing on his 'Tales From The Middle of Nowhere' blog, the 44-year-old rocker said: "The Royce Hall was / is yet another stunning theatre type thing on the UCLA campus. Two pretty good nights. Strange crowd though. Quite lively the first night, and dead as Dodos the 2nd!!! Why is that? F**k knows. Very odd though. Was good to be back in Los Angeles. I've grown to love that place. I used to hate it. Didn't get it for years, I like it now though - a sure sign one is getting older, I guess!
