September 6th 2010 sees the release of 'If You Want It' the first single from Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark's new album 'History Of Modern'. It might've been 14 years since the release of their last album but History Of Modern is exactly what you'd expect from these old pro's. If You Want It perfectly demonstrates OMD's songwriting style, big and bold verses and choruses. The single has been remixed by lots of great new bands who site OMD as having influence over their music, they include: We Have Band, French Horn Rebellion and Cold Cave.
The band will be on tour throughout the UK and the rest of Europe in November:
