Actress and animal rights activist Pamela Anderson has pledged her support to a rainforest charity after Dame Vivienne Westwood approached her about the cause.
The legendary fashion designer donated $1.6 million (£1 million) last year (11) to the Cool Earth organisation, which aims to stop logging in South American rainforests.
She has now called on the former Baywatch beauty to lend her famous face to the campaign.
Anderson tells Britain's The Times, "Vivienne has somehow adopted me (for the cause), it's fantastic. When Vivienne says something's important I listen. When we have tea I take a notepad. She really knows what she's talking about."
The star now hopes her support will help the cause, adding: "I don't know if people take me very seriously. Sometimes I wonder if I am making it worse, or making it better. Am I legitimising these causes? Or the opposite? Who knows."
