Michael Jackson Banned Kid's Friends From Parties

Michael Jackson Paris Jackson

Michael Jackson reportedly banned his children from inviting friends to their birthday parties.

The late King of Pop, who died of acute Propofol intoxication in 2009, used to throw his three children - Prince, 17, Paris, 16, and 12-year-old Blanket - lavish parties with clowns, magicians and cakes, but never let them invite their pals because he was over-protective of them.

Michael's former bodyguards Bill Whitfield and Jayon Beard have made the claims in a new tell-all book, which reveals details of the Jackson family's lives in the two years before the 'Thriler' hitmaker's death.

Katherine Jackson Michael Jackson Paris Jackson

Micheal Jackson's family have lost their lawsuit against AEG Live.

The late 'Thriller' hitmaker's mother, Katherine Jackson, sued the entertainment company for a £181m payout, accusing them of negligence for hiring doctor Conrad Murray who is serving time for the ''involuntary manslaughter'' of the pop legend.

A jury compromising of six men and six women have ruled AEG were not negligent for hiring the doctor on Wednesday night (02.10.13) bringing a five-month-long trial which was held at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, Los Angeles, to a close.

Michael Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe has testified that the late singer used the powerful anaesthetic drug Propofol - the same medical substance that led to his death - twice in the 1990s whilst the couple were married. Her testimony on Wednesday (14th Aug) in an L.A court was the first in the wrongful death trial, in which Jackson's family are attempting to sue concert promoters AEG Live for negligence, to state that the performer had ever used the drug for anything other than a medical condition.

The singer died in June 2009 whilst in the midst of a heavy rehearsal schedule for his 50-date comeback residency at London's O2 Arena, This Is It.

Prince Jackson Witnessed His Father's Death: AEG Court Case Continues

Michael Jackson Paris Jackson Katherine Jackson Tito Jackson Elizabeth Taylor

Michael Jackson's eldest son, Prince, appeared in court today (June 27, 2013). Katherine Jackson, Michael's mother and the legal guardian of his children, is suing concert promoter AEG for hiring Dr Conrad Murray as Michael's private physician. Prince and Michael Jackson's two other Paris and Blanket are also named as plaintiffs.

Katherine claims the company are at fault for hiring Murray and their negligence led to her son's death. Dr Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011. He had prescribed Jackson an overdose of propofol which resulted in his death. Propofol is a strong and fast-acting drug used to relax patients or put them to sleep (usually before surgery).

Prince Jackson took the stand today to tell the court about the last hours of his father's life. He related the traumatic events he witnessed including hearing his sister screaming whilst she watched Murray attempt to resuscitate their father.

Introducing Paris Jackson's Potential Legal Guardian, Her Mother!

Michael Jackson Katherine Jackson Paris Jackson

Michael Jackson's family are said to be outraged after it was reported Debbie Rowe could become Paris Jackson's legal guardian. Sources connected to the family tell TMZ.com that Debbie has made a move to become Paris' guardian after last week's shocking suicide attempt. Paris is said to be having a troublesome time with her grandmother Katherine Jackson, which has paved the way for Debbie to move on in.

Insiders say that the majority of the Jackson family believe Debbie's motivation is to put herself in the public eye - as evidence by her statement following the suicide attempt. "If her intentions were pure she'd be speaking to the family," said one source. Apparently the Jacksons will fight Debbie "tooth and nail" if she attempts to secure guardianship though we can't help but think Paris' mother is getting a rough deal. She clearly isn't motivated by money having been out of the limelight for years, and her statement last week was merely confirming that Paris had attempted suicide.

And anyway. It's not up to Katherine Jackson to decide. The judge in the guardianship case is currently reviewing Paris' grandmother's suitability to properly case for Michael Jackson's three children.

Debbie Rowe Might Be Seeking Custody Rights Over Paris Jackson

Debbie Rowe Paris Jackson

Paris Jackson has been in the news a lot lately over her suicide attempt and problematic career choices. The teen’s career in particular is currently being managed by one of her guardians – Paris’ grandmother, Katherine Jackson. Paris’ other guardian is TJ Jackson, but according to TMZ, TJ’s role in Paris’ welfare is on paper more than anything else.

But the troubled teen apparently has another option now – having her biological mother, Debbie Rowe, as her guardian. This option is reportedly being considered in light of Paris and Debbie’s deepening relationship. Back in 2009, when the guardianship hearing was initially held after Michael Jackson’s death, Rowe never actually waived her custody rights. Given this fact, as well as Paris’s deepening relationship with her mother of late, it is not unlikely that the court may grant Rowe the custody rights, instead of Katherine Jackson.

According to TMZ, this scenario is made even more likely by the fact that Paris is becoming increasingly distant from her grandmother. If the 15-year-old herself says that she would prefer to live with her mother instead, which is looking increasingly likely, the court will respect her decision. In short, the biological mother, with a meaningful relationship with the child is always the preferred candidate for custody rights. More on the story as it unfolds.

New School Planned For Paris Jackson, Who Wants To Live Following Suicide Attempt

Michael Jackson Paris Jackson

Paris Jackson’s shocking suicide attempt will probably lead to a change in school due to the bullying she receives. Home schooling, according to a source, isn’t out of the question for the teenager who claims she wants to live following the incident early on Wednesday morning.

“This latest episode was scary for everyone,” a source told The New York Post. “She’s basically kicking and screaming when the paramedics came, saying, ‘”I want to live. I do. I just don’t want to live here. I wish my daddy was here,'' they added. “She cuts, yes, she cuts, OK. We are aware, and her problems and concerns are being addressed, but there was no meat cleaver, it was a regular... kitchen knife.” A family source said: “It has already been decided she wont be going back to the school she had been attending. Paris had been absolutely miserable at the school for a long time, and there is a clique of mean girls that had been bullying her,” they added.

Michael Jackson's Family Fail To Show In Court

Michael Jackson's family failed to show up in court on Wednesday (06.06.13)

The Jackson family were meant to attend the high-profile court case after filing a wrongful death lawsuit against concert promoters AEG Live, but had other things on their mind after the King of Pop's 15-year-old daughter allegedly tried to kill herself on the same morning.

Paris was rushed to hospital in Calabasas, California after she allegedly cut her wrists and took an overdose of pills following a blazing row, which saw her complain she wanted to live her ''own life'' after being told she couldn't attend a Marilyn Manson gig that same day.

Paris Jackson's Suicide Attempt Stems Back To When Her Grandmother 'Went Missing'

Michael Jackson Paris Jackson

In the fallout of Paris Jackson's attempted suicide, it has been revealed that the daughter of Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe has been contemplating taking her life on-and-off for some time now, and has been spiralling into depression for about a year now. The 15-year-old has apparently been exhibiting signs of being in 'meltdown' at school and at home, caused largely to the trauma of her father's passing.

According to a report from TMZ, Paris has been stuck in the worst of ruts for some time, with the website gaining statements from those who know her from Buckley School, the provate academy in the San Fernando Valley that Paris attends. It seems the stresses relate back to the time her grandmother, Katherine Jackson, mysteriously 'disappeared' in July last year, only to show up at a spa resort with other members of the Jackson family, resulting in a custody battle between Michael's three children that landed them in the joint care of Katherine and Michael's nephew T.J. Jackson.

Those speaking with TMZ revealed that when Paris returned to school in September following the traumatic event, which prompted the teenager to comment on her Twitter asking anyone for help in finding her grandparent, she had seemingly "stopped caring" and her grades began to drop considerably. Another report from the school states that Paris, a budding actress, was offered a role in a movie but her advances were blocked by a determined effort from the Jackson family; something that would also have a major affect on her behaviour.

Paris Jackson Recovering In Hospital Following Failed Suicide Attempt; But Is It Teenage Angst Or Much Worse [Report]

Michael Jackson Debbie Rowe Paris Jackson

Paris Jackson seemed to be like most other 15-year-olds to most of us; she was hardly ever off Twitter or Instagram, has dreams of being an actress, works hard at school - where she is also a cheerleader - and had even given an online make-up tutorial for girls her age, so when the news was broken by TMZ on Wednesday (June 5) that Paris had attempted suicide earlier that morning, to say it was shocking would be an understatement.

There has been some light shed on what might have led Paris to attempt to take her life, with June 25, the fourth anniversary of her father Michael Jackson's death, the 15-year-old would have understandably been in a state of bereavement. As she quite clearly showed during Michael's televised funeral, she had very close and loving relationship with her father and the loss must have given her emotions a severe beating. As the Jackson's lawyer, Perry Sanders, told TMZ, "Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you."

The daughter of the late Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe was reportedly escorted from the Jackson's Calabasas family home and passed on to an awaiting ambulance at around 2 am, after which she was hurried to a nearby hospital. Katherine Jackson Vs AEG: Date Set For Michael Jackson Death Trial

Michael Jackson Katherine Jackson Paris Jackson

After a painstaking jury selection, the Michael Jackson wrongful death trial will get underway on Monday (April 29, 2013), Reuters reports today (April 24). The $40 billion civil case will pit Jackson’s mother, Katherine Jackson and other members of the Jackson family against the concert promoters AEG. Katherine, 82, is suing the promoters of Michael Jackson’s never-realized 2009 concert dates, claiming that they were partly responsible for her son’s death.

Six men and six women were finally selected to take part in the trial, in what will most likely be a very protracted and emotional trial. It is thought that the hearing will take around three months to come to completion and the opening statements will take place at Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday. Of an original selection of 100 potential jurors, many were unable to commit to a 3-month trial as they argued that taking part in such a length legal process would be a hardship to them. Other jurors were rejected as they were deemed to have a bias against Jackson, had business ties to AEG, or the Jackson family. Potential witnesses for the case include Michael’s daughter Paris Jackson, 15, his son Prince, 16 and the singer Diana Ross.

Katherine Jackson is claiming that AEG should take responsibility for the hiring of Dr Conrad Murray, who has already been jailed for causing the singer’s death through negligence. Jackson accuses that the promoters failed to check Murray’s credentials, the BBC reports.

Paris Jackson Planning Manhunt For Family Physician Conrad Murray

Michael Jackson Paris Jackson

Paris Jackson, the 15-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson, has spoken out against the convicted family physician, Conrad Murray. Murray could potentially be a crucial witness in Paris and her family’s case against Jackson’s concert promoter, AEG. However, the physician thought his testimony could harm his appeal for involuntary manslaughter.

The Jacksons‘ wrongful death lawsuit aims to prove that AEG negligently hired Murray and that the doctor gave Jacko a lethal dose of proforol in 2009. It’s easy to see why he would not want to testify in favor of the Jackson’s.

Understandably, Murray’s lawyer feels it may harm his case. However, a source close to Michael’s 15-year-daughter was quoted by the Sun yesterday as saying: “Paris wants to kick Murray’s butt. She wants him to explain what pressure the doctor was under to make Michael perform. When she gives evidence she plans to tear him apart.”

Reunited: Paris Jackson Spends Time With Mother Debbie Rowe

Michael Jackson Paris Jackson Debbie Rowe

Paris Jackson has reportedly been reunited with her mother, Debbie Rowe. Debbie was married to the global pop star Michael Jackson, but when they divorced in 2001 Debbie signed away her parental rights to Michael. Paris was three years old at the time and has had practically no contact with her mother since then.

According to TMZ, Debbie and Paris spent much of Paris’ birthday together on Wednesday (April 3, 2013) and a source told the site “they’ve gotten really tight.” The sources added that the mother and daughter have met up on a number of occasions and have established a strong bond with each other. Debbie has reportedly kept the meetings quiet, rather than taking advantage of any money making opportunities that could have come her way by publicising the encounters. A source told TMZ that she “wouldn’t even consider” the prospect of making a quick buck out of the situation.

Meanwhile, Paris said to have impressed lawyers at her deposition in Jackson’s wrongful death lawsuit, filed by her grandmother Katherine Jackson. She may only be 15 but the legal professionals felt that she had shown a great deal of maturity, beyond her years. “Katherine’s lawyers demanded that Paris’ deposition take place at the courthouse so the judge could intervene if it appeared to be getting too tough for her. Luckily it didn’t come to that. Paris will have to sit for another day of questioning but she is okay with that – she is an extremely intelligent, compassionate and thoughtful young lady,” a source told Radar Online

Could Lady Gaga Rescue Neverland For Michael Jackson's Family?

Lady GaGa Michael Jackson Paris Jackson Katherine Jackson

Pop music just isn’t enough for Lady GaGa. The threat of acting in a Quentin Tarantino movie just isn’t enough for Lady Gaga. Launching perfumes just isn’t enough for Lady Gaga. Now, it seems, Stefani Germanotta (aka Lady Gaga, aka Mother Monster) is shaping herself up to become Michael Jackson’s official archivist and historical restoration expert.

Not only did Gaga recently spend about a gazillion dollars on Michael Jackson-related memorabilia at an auction recently, but The Sun have now reported that she is in talks to purchase his legendary Neverland Ranch amusement park. Neverland is currently owned by Sycamore Valley Ranch – they purchased it when Jacko was undergoing serious financial problems. Michael’s kids Prince Michael, Blanket and Paris still own shares in Neverland though, as does his mother, Katherine. According to a source, The Sun reports that Lady Gaga has become good friends with Michael’s sister LaToya and would apparently like nothing more than to restore Neverland to its former glory.

“Lady Gaga is obsessed with Michael,” said the source, which would certainly explain her recent extravagant expenditure. If Gaga did invest in the property, it could potentially help Michael’s kids out with their investment for the future, as the source explains: “His kids are all desperate to hold on to their childhood home so they can decide what they want to do with it properly when they've grown up. Gaga would love to help with the financial costs by buying a share.”
