Fact: Directing newcomer Ericson Core will take charge of a reboot of Patrick Swayze's cult surfing movie Point Break. Core has mainly worked as a cinematographer on action movies including The Fast and the Furious, and made his directorial debut on Mark Wahlberg's 2006 sports film, Invincible. The Point Break remake was previously shelved in 2009 following Swayze's death.
