You know you’re getting older, when the party animal reality stars you remember from childhood begin settling down and having kids – case in point: Jersey Shore alum Pauly D. The former reality star is now the proud father of a baby girl, E!News reports. At 33, the ex-guido, currently a DJ, says he is "very excited" to be a daddy and "has always wanted kids." Unfortunately for him, his expectations differ quite a bit from those of the mother, as new information has revealed. 

Is Pauly D ready to be a dad?

The little one’s family situation might be a bit complicated. While the baby mama wasn’t initially identified, Pauly D (real name Paul Delvecchio) explained for the website that he didn’t previously have a relationship with the woman, but would like to have one in the future. Amanda Markert, who came out later in the day as the mother of DelVecchio’s baby, is a former Hooters waitress and a Las Vegas native. She reportedly had a one-night fling with Delvecchio last year, resulting in the birth of little Amabella. The baby is now five months old.

Jersey Shore star Pauly D has described his excitement towards becoming a father, after it was confirmed that he is a first-time daddy earlier this week. Pauly hasn't gotten into detail about the babys origins, such as who the mother is and where they met, but the DJ has said that he is excited to take on the next chapter of his life and plans on building a bond with the child and the mother.

E! News confirmed the news that Pauly is now a father to a daughter who is already several months old, with the site also revealing that the 33-year-old and the babys mother have no prior relationship, but will look for common ground in the coming weeks as they bond over the child. A statement released on behalf of Pauly went on to say that the Jersey Shore alum is "very excited" to finally be a father and that he "has always wanted kids."

Jersey Shore star, Pauly D, has unveiled he is the father to a love child.

The DJ and reality star confirmed the news on Tuesday (22nd) and seems to be very keen on the idea of fatherhood.

"I'm proud I'm a father. I am excited to embark on this new part of my life," the 33-year-old told TODAY in a statement.

Pauly D new hair is a thing everyone should apparently care about, so close all other tabs and read on. The Jersey Shore star has apparently switched out his blown out, gelled up do in favor of a more mature (but equally as gelled up) style, which he debuted on his Instagram this week. The style admittedly looks more mature though, and Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio still manages to rock it. We’re wondering if he’s left the fist pumping in the past as well.

That seems to be a trend among the “guidos” and “guidettes” of the Jersey Shore. Snooki has reinvented herself as a more responsible, more driven lady, and a mom and that, along with a transformation, which she came out of with a whole new slim body. Mike, aka The Situation, has sobered up. And now Pauly D looks like a grown up.

It looks as though Pauly D’s been poached. According to TMZ, the former Jersey Shore star may well be parting ways with MTV, the network that made him famous. Real name Paul Delvecchio, Pauly D could well be kissing goodbye to MTV, in favor of more money.

Sources have reportedly told TMZ that MTV are keen to bring his show The Pauly D Project back to the network for a second series, but he’s been dragging his feet. Now that the E! Network have offered a lot more money to do a reality show with him, he’s really dragging his feet, it would seem. According to the sources, Pauly has had 3 meetings already with E! and they’re dead set on making sure the show goes ahead. The programme, it seems, will focus more on Pauly’s life in general, rather than his life as a DJ. Presumably that means a lot more time on camera making himself beautiful.

Pauly D was the first member of Jersey Shore to get a spin off show and no, it looks as though he’s spun right off the hook, rejecting the loyalty of TV for the allure of the big bucks offer from E! In addition to his TV show, Pauly D is also scheduled to be releasing an album early next year. He’s been in the studio working with Big Sean so Pauly D fans should be expecting that pretty soon.

JWoww engaged to her partner Roger Mathews? Yes! The rumors are true!. In an exclusive interview with In Touch magazine, Jersey Shore star Jenni Farley revealed the dramatic fashion in which JWoww and Roger got engaged. The couple had been planning on doing a skydive together for months and when they finally did, Roger decided it was the perfect time to pop the question. “I look over and see a hand-written sign: ‘Jenni, will you … ’ and then I turned to him and freaked out,” reveals JWoww.

Jenni was apparently so overwhelmed by the skydive that she apparently missed the sign, and didn’t hear him asking, either. “The whole time I’m screaming, ‘What are you doing? What’s going on?” but eventually, Roger got his point across and said “I want to spend the rest of my life with you! Will you allow me to?’” Luckily for Roger, it was worth the wait, as obviously she said yes and luckily for JWoww, he treated her to an impressive sparkler; a gorgeous diamond, surrounded by smaller pink and white diamonds.

Her good pal Nicole Polizzi (aka Snooki) took a break from caring for her new baby to tweet “CONGRATS on the engagement boo! Love you so much” and fellow Jersey Shore star Pauly D also sent his congratulations to the couple, saying “Congrats!!!!! @RogerMathewsNJ @JENNIWOWW I Just Herd The News!!!! They Grow Up So Fast :)” Earlier this month, JWoww vehemently denied that she and Roger were engaged but we reckon that will be something to do with that ‘exclusive’ interview they’d arranged…
