Paul Oakenfold new release Starry Eyed Surprise is due out on the 12th of August on Perfecto Records. The track is taken from Bunkka Paul's Debut album as a solo artist. Featuring vocals by Shifty Shellshock who is a member of the American band Crazy Town who last year had a hit record with Butterfly. The single also features remixes from Josh Wink & Oliver Lieb.

It was rather a surprise to find Oakenfold had chosen a member of Crazy Town to work the vocals on the track. Although I do have to say that it "kind'a works" the emalgmation makes for a rather unusual mixture of white rap and Oakenfolds signature dance sound. In all there are 4 remixes of the song on the single (available on CD or 12") all of them sound very different and the remixes add more a needed edge to the track.

Paul Oakenfold has produced a start to finish summer track, lets just hope we have the weather to match.
