It ended children's movie Minions' three-week run of success in the U.K., consigning it to second place with weekend takings of $4.3 million (£2.7 million).
Comedy sequel Ted 2 dropped one place to third, with ticket sales of $2 million (£1.3 million), and the top five was rounded out by Jurassic World ($1.8 million/£1.13 million) and classical music movie Andre Rieu's 2015 Maastricht Concert ($1.7 million/£1.1 million).
