Attention, we now have a full-sized trailer for Marvel’s Ant-Man. Well, it’s still 17-seconds long, so technically still a teaser, but at least you can sort of tell what’s happening in this one, unlike their April-Fools-come-early stunt from a few days ago. Ant-man shrinks, the trailer was tiny, there you go. Clever, clever Marvel.

Paul Rudd
Paul Rudd in a Marvel flick is just too right. Right?

After the studio dropped an “ant-sized” version of the teaser, many, including this staff writer, complained that nothing could actually be gleamed from the miniscule video. So what have we learned this time around?

We have Paul Rudd walking towards the camera with a couple of uniformed dudes, being cool. Evangeline Lily as Hope van Dyne also looks really cool. The words “something big is coming.” Fighting ensues. Cool cool cool, as a certain fictional community college graduate would say. It's not quite as epic as your typical Marvel trailer, but all signs point to a more comedic take anyway. We're up for it.

Watch the Ant-Man teaser below.

Ant-Man, starring Rudd and Lilly, obviously, as well as Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll and Patrick Wilson, hits theatres on July 17th. But in case you’re starved for Marvel content (that was a joke, nobody needs more Marvel content right now) the full-length trailer will premiere on January 6th during the first episode of Agent Carter on Abc. Stay tuned for a dissection of that shenanigans later this week.
