He may be about to take on the big screen as Ant-Man, but it seems Paul Rudd has some unfinished business to attend to on the small screen first. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the soon to be superhero will be reprising his role of Bobby Newport during the final season of 'Parks and Recreation', which is set to air in early 2015.

Rudd will appear as Newport in two episodes of ‘Parks’ seventh season, having been last seen as Newport during season four.

“He’s the world’s nicest human being—and the funniest,” ‘Parks’ executive producer Michael Schur said of Rudd. “We made a list of all the people that we wanted to have back and he was high on the list, so we managed to snag him.”

As for how Newport will make his return to Pawnee, Schur said that it will be Ben Wyatt (played by Adam Scott), giving Bobby the call as he’ll “need to fill a certain position” and thinks Bobby might be a good candidate.

The filming of Rudd’s scenes was luckily able to be fitting in while the actor was also busy with the upcoming Ant-Man, which is due out next summer.

But Rudd is the only famous face heading back to 'Parks' for one final time. Rob Lowe, Rashida Jones, Jon Hamm, Megan Mullally, and Natalie Morales, have all been confirmed as appearing in the comedy’s final season which kicks off on NBC January 13th.
